ISLAMABAD - At least one policeman was killed and three others were injured when a bomb hit their vehicle in Pakistan's southwest city of Quetta on Thursday morning, reported local Urdu TV channel Dunya.
The attack took place at about 10:00 am local time when a roadside bomb hit a police vehicle patrolling on the Qambrani Road of Quetta, capital city of Balochistan province in southwest Pakistan, injuring four policemen on the spot, local media reported.
One of the injured policemen later died at hospital, said Dunya.
Police have cordoned off the area for a search operation.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Earlier on Thursday, a remote-controlled blast hit a vehicle of security forces at the outskirts of Peshawar, the largest city in northwest Pakistan, but no one got killed or injured.
