Veena Malik scales the controversial skies again on the “Publicity Airplane “. - Total Filmy

Her past movements and tricks have made her the favorite choice for many directors. Due to her antics publically displayed and highlighted in the media Veena Malik has bagged many lucrative bollywood assignments.

Veena Malik has again made a smooth landing on the “publicity airplane” runaway with her recent controversy. The director of 3D horror movie “Mumbai 125Km”, Hemant Madhurkar also enjoys the attention spewed by the camera with her this time. The scandalous and “so friendly” photographs of the starlet with the director occupy space on the dailies pushing her again into the limelight. She was heard remarking obscene comments like “Am I seen getting banged in these pictures? How are they intimate? She has been accused profusely of egging on the “Casting Couch “culture in the film industry.

She is the chosen damsel for many a director. Tittle-tattle states that assignments and stardom landed in her lap after “big boss” due to the casting couch. Veena vehemently stated the reports “absurd”. She said that just because she was eating and sitting with someone doesn’t mean she is flirting or dating him."I share a good work relationship with Hemant, and I also know his wife." She called all the reports baseless. The fiery Malik is said to termed the news as rubbish.

The sensuous Veena Malik makes exuberant claims of morphed photography and pictures clicked the “wrong way “. This has made many gossip mongers raise their eyebrows in astonishment. Maybe it was “wrongly taken pictures” that had her cozying up to Amisha Patel’s star brother as a beau. It must be the “morphed videography “that made the masses mistake her “pristine pure” relationship with Ashmit Patel in Big Boss.”Aaashmit” as she fondly calls him was in Australia with her currently for the shooting of the upcoming bollywood flick “Supermodel “.

Is this a fraught attempt at publicity by the controversial Veena is still to be seen. But haven’t we heard there is no smoke without fire.

PML-Q again threatens to quit govt over power crisis - PakistanToday.com.pk

RAWALPINDI - PML-Q leader and Senior Federal Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on Sunday asked the PPP government to solve the power crisis, threatening that otherwise his party would part ways with the government.

Speaking to party workers in Rawalpindi, Elahi also criticised the PML-N, saying that the party was raising the power crisis issue for their own gain.

The PML-Q leader claimed that if the formula put forward by party president Shujaat Hussain was implemented than the power crisis would be solved.

He said during the tenure of the PML-Q government there were four projects for power generation while during the tenure of the PML-N government in Punjab there had been none.

Elahi said there was not just bad governance but “mad-governance” in Punjab, adding that the “loud-talking” chief minister was responsible for the electricity load shedding in the province.

He said the rulers of Punjab should compare their performance with the development works done by his government during its tenure.

Drones again trample Pak sovereignty - Pakistan Observer

THAT the United States is least bothered to repair its fractured relationship with Pakistan has amply been confirmed by the latest drone attack in Miranshah in North Waziristan in which at least four people were killed and several others injured. As the attack came just in the midst of dialogue process between the two countries aimed at restoring their relationship to normal levels, one can safely presume that this is just one-way traffic from Pakistan side.

It is evident that the casualty version almost invariably comes from Western military, intelligence and media sources and there is always possibility of giving a particular twist to the relevant information. In this case too, the reports leaked to the media claimed that those killed were suspected militants who were using deserted building of a Girls Primary School as their den. However, even if this version is true and accepted then too there is hardly any justification for the United States to cross over from neighbouring Afghanistan, breaching Pakistan?s territory sovereignty and hitting targets deep inside the country. Everyone knows that the United States has not only latest surveillance system in place but also has a network of ground agents in place all over Pakistan as was revealed during episodes like Raymond Davis. Therefore, the logic demands that instead of trampling Pakistan?s sovereignty and killing people, which sparks anti-American sentiments all over the country, the United States should better communicate actionable intelligence to Pakistani forces, who are capable enough to take action against terrorists and militants. This is borne out by the fact that Pakistan has killed and apprehended more Al-Qaeda operatives during war on terror than combined successes of the allied forces. Similarly, Pakistan has also been urging the United States to transfer drone technology to the country so that action is taken by its own troops. Pakistan?s parliament has already demanded of the Government to take up the issues in right earnest with the United States and there should not be any compromise on this account.
